Drug driver busted by gardai on patrol in Kilkenny city
A suspected drug driver was busted after he tested positive for cannabis when he was stopped by Kilkenny gardai on patrol in the city over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Officers then discovered €140 of suspected cannabis in a follow-up search of the vehicle.
A local Garda spokesperson said: “The results of the blood test and testing of suspected illicit drugs will determine the course of the prosecution.”
