Fears grow for safety of missing young Kilkenny woman

Gardaí in Kilkenny are seeking the public’s help in tracing the whereabouts of a missing young woman.

Amanda (Mandy) McDonagh (24) was last seen near her home at Pearse Street in the city at around 8pm on Friday.

She is described as being 5’6″ in height, of slim build with long brown hair. When last seen Amanda was wearing a grey jumper, black leggings, grey hat, grey jacket and white runners.

Gardaí and Amanda’s family are concerned for her welfare.

A Garda spokesperson said: “Anyone who can assist Gardaí in locating Mandy are asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.”
