Former county Kilkenny CBS to be transformed into new community hub
A former school in the centre of a Kilkenny town is set to undergo a major transformation into a new community hub.
Kilkenny County Council have given the green light to the Droichead Family Resource Centre to change the use of their current facility, the old Callan CBS building, into a fully-fledged family resource centre.
Under the plans, a new crèche building will be constructed while the existing ‘Men’s Shed’ building will remain in place.
The new facility will be situated on Callan’s West Street.
