Gardai investigate theft of construction equipment from building site in Kilkenny
GARDAI in Kilkenny are investigating the theft of a valuable power tool from a building site in the city over the weekend.
The theft occurred at the Wetlands area of the city sometime between 6.30pm on Friday and 8am the following morning.
The thief made off with an expensive Stihl consaw drill with a distinguishing mark on it. No damage was caused to any other property and no other items were reported stolen.
Gardai have urged anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
