Green fingered thieves steal gardening equipment from Kilkenny property

Thieves broke into a property in county Kilkenny over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend and made off with valuable gardening equipment.

The incident occurred at a field near Parkmore on the Callan Road in Kilkenny city sometime between between Sunday evening and Monday afternoon.

A polytunnel, a wheelbarrow, a blue tarp and a green Guild drill were taken. A local Garda source said the culprits would have needed transport to remove the items from the field.
