Green light for large new family homes in Kilkenny town centre

Kilkenny County Council has given the green light for a development of large family homes in Urlingford.

Canview Ltd originally lodged plans with the local authority in April to develop the properties to complete the housing development at Tougher Crescent.

The council reverted to Canview over the summer requesting more information, including a flood-risk assessment of the site and a query in relation to the layout of the development.

Canview provided that information in September and, after examining their detailed proposals, the local authority decide to approve planning.

Canview can now proceed with the construction four two-storey, five bedroom homes and three two-storey, four bedroom houses on the 0.5 hectare site just off the town centre.
