Green light for plans to transform Kilkenny city building into 15 new homes
Plans to transform an end of terrace property in the city-centre into three new houses and 12 apartments have been given the go-ahead by Kilkenny County Council.
The developer, Hansa Properties Ltd, is seeking permission to demolish the two storey house at number 66 Upper Patrick Street, along with a vacant workshop building and sheds at the back of the property.
In its place, it will build three new house and 12 new apartments.
The local authority approved the planning application, albeit subject to 20 separate conditions that must be met by the developer.
