Halloween night terror as youth’s jaw broken in vicious Kilkenny city assault

A youth out enjoying Halloween night had his jaw broken in a vicious attack in Kilkenny city.

The teenager was assaulted as he walked along Patrick Street in the city at around 8.50pm last Thursday, October 31.

Gardai received reports that there was a gang of youths in the area at the time, but they believe the injured teen was blindsided by a lone attacker.

The teenager had to be taken to hospital as a result of his injuries. It was later discovered he had his jaw broken in the attack.
