Handbag nicked from car as owner was strolling

A WOMAN’s handbag was taken from a car while she had parked up and gone for a walk.

The woman parked her car on Castle Road, Kilkenny between 4 pm and 5 pm on Thursday, 18 July. When she came back to the car there was no sign of the bag.

There was no sign of any damage to the car or sign of forced entry.

Gardai are again asking people not to leave personal belongings visible in their cars, as they attract thieves.
