Heroin, cocaine and cannabis seized during search of car in Kilkenny town
A man his to appear in court after being found in possession of a significant amount of drugs while driving in a county Kilkenny town.
The incident occurred after gardai stopped a car in Ballyragget at 11.30pm on Saturday night.
During a search, €840 worth of heroin, €70 of cocaine, €300 worth of cannabis and some tablets were discovered in the car.
A man was arrested at the scene and has been charged with possession of illegal drugs for sale or supply.
He is due to appear before an upcoming sitting of Kilkenny district court.
A second man was present in the car but has not been charged with any offence.
