In hot water: Hunt on for gang who robbed boat in county Kilkenny town
A pleasure boat, its engine, and trailer have been stolen from a county Kilkenny driveway.
The two-berth river cruiser called the “Shady Lady” was stolen from a driveway in Friar’s Hill in Graiguenamanagh sometime between Wednesday, May 27 and Thursday, June 4.
Not only was the distinctive blue and white boat taken, the boat’s outboard motor and its trailer were also stolen.
It would have taken a vehicle with a tow-bar on it to move the boat.
Anyone with information or who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the Friar’s Hill area during that week is asked to contact Graiguenamanagh Garda Station on 059 972 5750.
