It’s beginning to taste a lot like Christmas! Kilkenny’s top restaurants unveil festive cookbook
Kilkenny’s leading restaurants and food producers and have launched a second ‘festive’ cookbook just in time for Christmas.
‘Kilkenny Christmas Traditions’ celebrates the very best of Christmas culinary fare and traditions in the county.
The 52-page book contains 27 easy-to-create recipes, from festive starters, mains, sides to deserts all using ingredients from local food producers or recipes straight from the kitchens of some of the county’s top restaurants.
The contributors include Fennelly’s of Callan; Aran; Rive Gauche; Stratham’s Restaurant at the Pembroke Hotel and Lil’s Restaurant at Hotel Avalon.
Kilkenny Tourism chief Brian Tyrell said: “We are delighted to launch the second festive cookbook from our wonderful restaurants and food producers.
“As we approach this Christmas, we are all mindful that this season will be celebrated very differently from previous years.
“Dining at home will be very much part and parcel of the season, so what better time for people to experiment with new recipes created by our very best chefs and food producers,” Mr Tyrell added.
