Kilkenny family successes celebrated at National Women’s Enterprise Day dinner

KILKENNY’S Local Enterprise Office is hosting a dinner to celebrate National Women’s Enterprise Day (NWED) and has one of Ireland’s foremost broadcasters as its MC.

Dr Ciara Kelly, presenter of Newstalk’s lunchtime show and Irish Independent columnist, will be the event’s host at the Rivercourt Hotel this evening. The theme tonight is “Making It Happen – Like Mother Like Daughter”

Dr Kelly will be joined by a panel of inspirational local women, including NWED Ambassador Margaret Kirwan of Goatsbridge Trout Farm and her sibling Miriam Donohue, GOAL’s communication manager.

The panel also features Marian O’Gorman and her daughter Melissa from the Kilkenny Group and recently acquired Kilkenny Design Centre, and Rita and Teresa Brennan from Lorimat Jewellers, a Kilkenny based jewellery business.
