Kilkenny GAA club gets green light to build new gym and facilities
A Kilkenny GAA club has been given permission to build a new gym, changing rooms and facilities on its grounds.
In a planning application to Kilkenny County Council, the Black & Whites club in Skeoughvosteen sought permission for a single storey extension to its existing changing room building, a new gym and “alterations to the existing detached storage building to incorporate a new plantroom, referees room and new accessible public toilet facilities”.
The north Kilkenny club also sought permission to make “internal and external alterations to existing buildings, a new wastewater treatment system and polishing filter, new external signage and all associated site works” at its grounds on Tom Walsh Club.
The local authority this week confirmed it has given the green light for the works.
