Kilkenny gardai hunt thieves and vandals following spate of crimes in city and county

Gardaí in Kilkenny are hunting a mobile phone thief after a device was stolen from a member of the public in the city.

The theft occurred in the Circular Road area of the city at 10am on Tuesday night.

Meanwhile, gardaí have also issued an alert in relation to a number of other incidents in the city and county this week.

On Wednesday, thieves broke into a shed at the back of a residence in Radestown and made off with  gardening tools and equipment.

The same day, the window of a car was smashed at the Cluain Glasan estate off the Granges Road in the city. This follows a similar another incident  at Lakeside between last Friday and Saturday.
