Kilkenny man who laid down the law in Tipperary retires from the bench

A KILKENNY Judge laying down the law in Tipperary for the past 13 years, has retired.
Judge Tom Teehan from Castlecomer, spent six decades in the legal profession.
Judge Teehan has presided over Nenagh Court in Tipperary for the past 13 years.
He started practicing law back in the 1960s, before becoming a barrister in 1971.
In 2006 he was called to the bench and became a judge, and up until retirement sat at Circuit Court level.
