Have your say: Kilkenny residents’ ideas for public land ‘Masterplan’ wanted

Kilkenny residents are being asked to out their ideas forward for what they would like to see happen to a large tract of public land.

Kilkenny County Council, in conjunction with the Health Service Executive (HSE), is to commence the preparation of a ‘Masterplan’ for the future development of the St Canice’s Campus (the former St Canice’s Hospital) lands at Lacken and Maudlinsland, in Kilkenny City.

They are asking the public to put forward their thoughts on the use of the land which will then be used as a framework for the project.

In order to stimulate debate and encourage participation in this process, an Issues Paper has been prepared and be viewed at Council offices or online.

Any parties interested in making submissions have until Friday, July 30 to do so.

Submissions can be made online at consult.kilkenny.ie, by email to ourplan@kilkennycoco.ie or in writing to – Senior Planner, Planning Department, Kilkenny County Council, County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny.
