LATEST: Hospital cases rise again as almost 3,000 new infections confirmed
A further 2,975 people have contracted the coronavirus, the Department of Health confirmed today.
And the number of patients being treated for the virus in hospital has risen to 551, up 31 on yesterday’s figure.
The number of patients being treated in ICU has also increased by six to 89.
