LATEST: More than 1,100 new cases of virus confirmed, 349 treated in hospital
A further 1,124 more people have contracted the coronavirus, the Department of Health confirmed this evening.
That’s an increase of 232 on yesterday’s figures.
And the number of patients being treated in hospital for the virus now stands at 349, up 16 from yesterday.
Of these, 64 are being treated in ICU, the same as yesterday’s numbers.
