LATEST: More than 2,000 new cases of virus confirmed
A further 2,002 people have contracted the coronavirus, the Department of Health confirmed this evening.
That’s an increase of 895 on yesterday’s figures.
And the number of patients being treated in hospital for the virus now stands at 354, a decrease of one on yesterday.
Of these, 74 are being treated in ICU, five more on yesterday’s numbers.
