Local developer unveils plans for 12 new apartments in heart of Kilkenny village

A local developer is looking to build 12 apartments in the heart of a Kilkenny village.

Centaur Developments in Ballyfoyle, just north of Kilkenny city has applied to the local authority to build the apartment development at Banagher Place, just off Piltown’s Main Street.

The plan involves the construction of 10 two-bedroom apartments and two one-bed apartments across two separate blocks.

The development will be constructed on a 0.4 acre site in the centre of the village and 17 car spaces will also be provided.

A decision on the development is due by the end of March.
