One of Kilkenny’s biggest employers gets green light for expansion

One of Kilkenny’s largest employers received a significant boost after the local authority gave the green light to plans to increase the size of its production facility.

Dawn Meats made an application to Kilkenny County Council in February looking to add to its production facility at its plant in Granagh.

The global meat producer made an application to build almost 10,000 sq ft of production space to the front of the existing facility.

Dawn Meats’ current facility at Granagh has almost 196,000 sq ft of production space.
