Man (20s) charged with fatal assault in Kilkenny
A man arrested in connection with a fatal assault in Kilkenny city earlier this week will appear in court this morning.
The suspect, who is in his 20s, was arrested shortly after the assault on the Hebron Road shortly before 1pm on Tuesday.
Gardai this morning said he is expected to appear before a sitting of Carlow District Court this morning at 10:30am.
A man in this 40s died of his injuries after he was taken to St Luke’s General Hospital after the assault.
