Man (40s) killed in tragic accident on construction site near Kilkenny border
A man has died following a workplace accident near county Kilkenny.
The man in his 40s died following an accident in Ballickmoyler, county Laois, about one mile from the Kilkenny border.
It happened following an accident on Tuesday, March 3 on a site where construction work was taking place. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was removed to the Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise and a post-mortem examination was carried out.
The Health and Safety Authority have been notified.
