Huge quantity of cocaine found in car stopped in Kilkenny
A large amount of cocaine was seized after gardai stopped a car travelling on a county Kilkenny road last night.
Kilkenny gardaí stopped a silver BMW after they saw the driver acting suspiciously just after midnight.
The vehicle was searched and a large quantity of suspect cocaine was discovered.
Gardai also discovered weighing scales and bags, likely for distribution.
The driver was arrested, detained and later questioned by at Kilkenny Garda Station.
He has been charged for offences under Section 15 the Misuse of Drugs Act and will appear in court in September to answer charges.
