Man in dark clothes seen fleeing Kilkenny house after cash and jewellery robbery
Gardai are on the hunt for a man seen leaving a house in Kilkenny city following a burglary in which cash and jewellery were taken.
The theft occurred at Lintown Walk on the Johnswell Road on Saturday evening.
A local Garda source confirmed a man wearing dark clothes was spotted leaving the house at 9pm. He had earlier gained access to the house by forcing open the kitchen window.
A quantity of cash was taken along with two wedding rings and some other items.
Anyone with information about the burglary or who may have noticed anything suspicious in the Lintown Walk or Johnswell Road area at the time is asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
