Man killed by falling tree while clearing debris caused by Storm Eunice
A man has died after he was struck by a falling tree while working to clear debris caused by Storm Eunice.
The incident happened in the Ballythomas area of county Wexford late this morning.
It is understood the man, who is reported to have been aged in his 50s, was working with a colleague clearing trees when the incident took place.
The incident is being investigated by gardai and the Health and Safety Authority.
