Only Fools and Dancers: Boycie supports Kilkenny’s Taggy ahead of DWTS quarter-final

All-Ireland winner Aidan ‘Taggy’ Fogarty has picked up support from an unlikely fan ahead of Sundays’ Dancing With The Stars quarter-final.
In a hilarious video, Only Fools And Horses’ Boycie, played by actor John Challis, says that he and on-screen wife Marlene “wish him all the luck in the world” before urging viewers to vote for the hurler tomorrow evening.
Meanwhile, the Kilkenny favourite has told told RTÉ Entertainment that the show has thrown “every emotion” at him.
“You come into this and you could try to be someone else because of votes,” he said.
“You could try to be someone else to be kind of cool on the show. You could try to be someone else to make friends with someone. It’s too hard to not be yourself! You’re just too busy!
“I think being myself is what got me through to the quarter-finals.
“People supported Kilkenny – 15 people on the hurling field. But people are supporting me individually now. I just can’t believe the support for one person.”
