Plans for new apartments in centre of Kilkenny town
Plans for a new building of apartments in the heart of a county Kilkenny town have been lodged with the local authority.
Kilkenny Voluntary Housing Association Company Limited has applied to Kilkenny County Council9 for permission to build six apartments which will be houses in a new two-storey building on Ladyswell Street in Thomastown.
The proposed developmnent will consist of four one-bed apartments and two two-bed dwellings. The plans also include the construction of an ancillary building to the rear of the site comprising of a bin storage room, a CCTV hub and bicycle storage room and the provision of four on street car parking spaces.
The council is expected to announce its decision before the end of next month.
