Popular Kilkenny restaurant opens new quality takeout premises in city

One of Kilkenny’s best known restaurants has opened a new market produce and take-away premises.
La Rivista this week opened its doors at its new location on 17 Parliament Street, offering customers a wide range of new produce as well as traditional favourites.
The restaurant said the new premises will cater for the growing demand for “premium market produce and take-out meal dishes”.
La Rivesta Market opens every Tuesday to Saturday from 8.30 to 4pm and features Irish made artisan brands such as Hassetts breads & pastries, Melia’s Irish Butter Fudge, Foods of Athenry and Blanco Nino Sea Salt.
La Rivista will continue to operate it’s takeout service, which is available every Wednesday to Sunday at it’s restaurant premises, just up the road on 22 Parliament Street.
Owner Jennifer Quinn said: “We have had an incredible response from the public to our pop-up market and we realised it was time to expand to a new premises that would give us larger floor space, allow us to serve more customers in a socially distanced way and also increase our range and variety of exciting new produce and dishes.
“Like so many businesses we have had to adapt to the new restrictions and we are confident that this new location will give our customers greater options in a more comfortable and convenient setting.”
