REST IN PEACE: Kilkenny Death Notices

Daly (Golf Links Road, Newpark, Kilkenny and formerly of Ballingarry, Co. Limerick) 28th September 2020, peacefully, at his home, Joe, in his 99th year, beloved husband of the late Catherine (Kit), sadly missed by his nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

In keeping with current government/HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings, Requiem Mass for Joe will be celebrated on Wednesday (30th Sept) at 10.30am in St. John’s Church, Kilkenny for family and close friends with a max of 50 people in the church. Funeral afterwards to St. Kieran’s Cemetery. Mass be be be viewed online at www.stjohnskilkenny.com.

Blly O’Dwyer, Whitehall Road West, Terenure, Dublin 12 and formerly of Foulkstown, Co. Kilkenny.

Peacefully at his residence on Sunday 27th September 2020. Pre-deceased by his parents Philip and Johanna, brothers Michael, Noel and Jimmy. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing family, his wife Ann, sons Philip and James, daughters Ann Marie and Siobháin, brother Joe, sisters Moira, Kathleen and Ann, grandchildren, great – grandchild, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and a large circle of friends.

In keeping with current HSE and government guidelines regarding public gatherings, Billy will be reposing at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan. Funeral arriving to St. Joseph’s Church, Foulkstown, Kilkenny on Tuesday evening at 6.15pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 2pm followed by burial in adjoining Cemetery. (Maximum 50 people in the Church).

Patrick (Patsy) Power, late of Ard-na-Greine, Piltown, Co. Kilkenny. Died 28th September 2020. Sadly missed by his loving wife Peggy, son Fergal, grandsons Zach and Max, granddaughter Sarah, great-granddaughter Ellie, loving sister Mabel, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Arriving for Funeral Mass in Piltown Church at 11am on Wednesday, the 30th of September 2020, followed by burial in Ballyduff Lower Cemetery, Co. Waterford.

The death has occurred of Anthony (Tony) Quirk, Wood Road, Graiguenamanagh and formerly Beaumont, Dublin. Unexpectedly but peacefully on 27th September 2020 after 81 full and happy years. Sadly missed by his beloved wife Florence, daughters Louise, Emily and Brenda, treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren, extended family, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Ryan’s Funeral Home, New Ross on Tuesday (29th Sept) from 6pm concluding at 8pm.

Funeral to arrive at Cappagh Cemetery, Inistioge, Co. Kilkenny on Wednesday morning at 11.45am, for burial. (Family and friends may attend).

Senan passed away suddenly at his home. Predeceased by his parents Tommie and Annie, brothers Christy and Jimmy. Sadly missed by his loving daughter Nicola, son-in-law John, grandchildren Mia and Joe, brothers Sonny, Billy and Thomas, sisters Maudie, Reidie and Margaret, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and good friends.

In keeping with current government guidelines regarding public gatherings and social distancing, Senan’s remains will be reposing on Wednesday at Donnacha Doyle & Sons Funeral Home, Grannagh, Kilmacow from 6.00pm until 8.00pm. Arriving on Thursday at St. Senan’s Church, Kilmacow for Requiem Mass at 2.00pm. (Restrictions with a maximum of 50 people in church). Burial after in the adjoining cemetery.
