Bryan (née Cleere), Johanna (Josie), Kill West, Kill, Co. Kildare and formerly of Kileen, Kilmanagh, Co. Kilkenny, December 23rd 2020, peacefully, in the loving care of staff and nurses at Maynooth Community Care Unit, beloved wife of the late Paddy and sister of the recently deceased Simon & Ann,Sadly missed by her loving children Patsy, Michael, Margaret, John, Tom, Joe, Richard, Walter, Dan, Philip, James and Jody, son-In-law, daughters-In-law, brothers, sister in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relative and friends

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings a private funeral mass will take place for family in St. Brigid’s Church, Kill on Saturday (St. Stephen’s Day) at 11am, followed by burial in St. Corban’s Cemetery, Naas.

Edward (Eddie) HOULIHAN
Marian Place, Bennettsbridge

Houlihan (Marian Place, Bennettsbridge, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Donnycarney, Dublin 5) 22nd December 2020, peacefully, in the wonderful care of Mairead and the staff at Gowran Abbey Nursing Home, Eddie, beloved husband of the late Rita and much loved father of Rebecca and Ciarán, sadly missed by his loving family, sisters Sheila and Theresa (Kent, UK), son-in-law Peter, daughter-in-law Angela, grandchildren Heather, Matthew and James, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

In accordance with current Government/H.S.E. guidelines and in the interest of Public Health, a private family funeral will take place for Eddie, with Requiem Mass celebrated on Thursday 24th December, at 11am in St. Bennett’s Church, Bennettsbridge (max of 25 in Church). Funeral afterwards to Tullaherin Cemetery.

If you are attending the Church grounds or cemetery you are asked to strictly adhere to social distancing and refrain from hand shaking.

The family would like to thank everybody for their support and understanding in these difficult days.

Cathleen SHORTALL
Main Street, Urlingford

Cathleen died peacefully at St Luke’s Hospital Kilkenny. Predeceased by her brother John and sister Bridget. Deeply regretted by her brother Michael, his wife Hanna, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and a close circle of friends.

In keeping with Government guidelines regarding public gatherings Requiem Mass will take place on St. Stephen’s Day for family only (Max 10 people) in the Church of the Assumption, Urlingford at 11 o’clock followed by burial in Johnstown.

Kathleen STAFFORD
Pipe Street, Thomastown

Kathleen (aged 99 years) died peacefully at Archersrath Nursing Home, Kilkenny. Kathleen (sister of the late Seán) is deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, brother Christy, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

In accordance with current Government/HSE guidelines a private Requiem Mass for Kathleen will take place on Monday, 28 December, at 11am in the Church of the Assumption, Thomastown, followed by interment in St Mary’s New Cemetery, Thomastown, Co Kilkenny.
