Jim Barrett, Upper Drumdowney, Snowhill, Slieverue, Co. Kilkenny, and late of Baltinglass, Co. Wicklow, who died on Sunday, 31st January 2021, peacefully, at University Hospital Waterford. Jim will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Marie (nee Haberlin), his children Michael, Karen and David, son-in-law Tom, daughters-in-law Tina and Patrice, grandchildren Samuel, Maia, Adam, Oisin, Padraig and Lillian, brothers Dick, Johnny, Henry, Rob and Declan, sisters Marion, Linda, Lily, Bernie, Bridget, brothers-in-law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Jim’s removal will take place on Wednesday, 3rd February, to the Church of the Assumption, Slieverue, arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Maria Teresa D’Amico, Mount Carmel Home, Callan, Co. Kilkenny.
Peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny on Monday 1st February 2021. Pre-deceased by her son-in-law Oliver Hennessy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, daughter Linda, sister Edwidge, grandchildren Robbie and Owen, Robbie’s wife Linda, Owen’s partner Maria, family, relatives and friends.
Due to current Level 5, HSE and Government restrictions, Maria Teresa’s Funeral will take place privately (for 10 family members only). Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday 3rd February at 11am in The Church of the Assumption, Callan. Those who would like to view the Funeral Mass can do so through the following link; churchmedia.ie (Callan Parish). A private cremation will take place afterwards.

The death has taken place of Des Foley, 4 Riverside, Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny. He died on Sunday 31st January 2021 at the Beacon Hospital, Dublin. Beloved Husband of Una. Predeceased by his son Kieran. Deeply regretted by his sons Sean and Mark. Sadly missed by his Grandchildren, Daughter-in-law, Mother Josie, Brothers, Sisters, Brothers-in-law, Sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.
Due to Covid restriction, and in Accordance with Government/HSE guidelines, The House is strictly Private.
A private Family funeral will take place on Wednesday 3rd February at 11am in St. Patricks Church , Ballyragget, followed by burial in St. Finnans Cemetry, Ballyragget.

Breda died peacefully at her home in Southfields, London in her 95th year. Sadly missed by her loving daughter Teresa, son in law Michael, sons Denis, Chris, Michael, grandchildren, daughters in law, friends and extended family.

William (Billy) O’SULLIVAN
Licketstown, Carrigeen, Mooncoin
Billy passed away, peacefully, at Mooncoin Residential Care Home. Deeply regretted by his loving sister Mary, neighbours and friends.
In line with current government guidelines regarding public gatherings, Billy’s remains will arrive on Tuesday at St. Kevin’s Church, Carrigeen (Via Croke’s shop and Licketstown) for requiem Mass at 11am. Burial after in the adjoining cemetery.
