Elizabeth Bergin, Abbeylands, Ferrybank, Waterford, who died on Saturday, 13th March 2021.

Peacefully, at home. Predeceased by her dad Maurice. Elizabeth will be sadly missed by her son Ross, mother Margaret, brothers Kieran, Declan and Jason, sisters-in-law Gillian and Geraldine, niece Sophie, uncles, aunts, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Paddy CARROLL
Ballybrazil, Mooncoin/Carrigeen, Kilkenny

Paddy Carroll, Ballybrazil, Mooncoin, Co.Kilkenny, who died on Friday, 12th March 2021, peacefully, at University Hospital Waterford. Predeceased by his mother Johanna (Jo). Paddy will be sadly missed by sister Kathleen, cousin Ann, extended family, good neighbours and friends.

Paddy’s removal will take place on Sunday, 14th March, to the Church of the Assumption, Mooncoin arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial (passing his home on his final journey) to St. Kevin’s Cemetery, Carrigeen. Glendine Court, Kilkenny City/Mallow, Cork

Jacinta (Jas) Hurley (née O’Connell) (Glendine Court, Kilkenny and late of Mallow, Co. Cork) March 13th 2021 (peacefully) at her home surrounded by her loving family, after an illness bravely borne with courage and dignity. Beloved wife of Peter and devoted mother to Karen, David and Ciara. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Ann, Mary, Paddy and Roberta, brother John, her adored grandchildren Zara Rose, Isobel and Rían, son-in-law Darragh, David’s fiancée Alicia, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings, a private family funeral Mass for Jacinta will take place on Monday March 15th at 11a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, Foulkstown, Kilkenny. Sadly missed by his loving wife Peggy, daughters Annemarie, Niamh and Sinead, sister Mary, sons in law Paul, Oliver, James, aunt Mary, grandchildren Ronan, Harry, Jack, Keegan and Grace, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Arriving at Piltown Church on Monday, 15 March 2021, for funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Fr. William WALSH 
Formerly of Middlequater, Mooncoin, Kilkenny

Parish Priest in Rio Vista, California and formerly of Middlequater, Mooncoin. Fr. William was in his 96th year and passed away peacefully in California on the 2nd of March 2021. Son of the late William and Anastasia, predeceased by his sisters Margaret (Foskin), Kathleen (Aylward) and Alice (Cheasty), brothers James, Pat and Laurence. Deeply regretted by his sisters Mary (Kelly) and Eileen (McKiernan), brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Fr. William’s funeral Mass will be held on Friday 19th of March in St. Joseph’s Parish Church, Rio Vista, followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Those wishing to leave a message of condolence for the Walsh family can use the online service here.
