REST IN PEACE: Kilkenny Death Notices

Mary MAHON (née O’Neill)
4 Cluain Mhuire, Goresbridge

Formerly of Kilcarrig St. Bagenalstown. Peacefully, at her home, in the loving care of her family. Predeceased by her husband Joe and son Kevin. Beloved mother of Marie, Della (Walsh), Liam, Carmel (O’Neill) and Joseph. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons in law, partners, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Mary’s Funeral Mass will take place on Monday at 2pm in The Church of the Holy Trinity, Goresbridge, (max. 50 people, due to government advice regarding public gatherings), followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Bee (Brigid) O’SULLIVAN (née O’Dwyer)
Larchfield, Kilkenny City

O’Sullivan (nee O’Dwyer) (40 Larchfield, Kilkenny and formerly of Knocktopher, Co. Kilkenny) 21st August 2021, peacefully, at her home and in the loving care of her family, Bee (Brigid), predeceased by her husband Billy and son John, beloved mother of Chris (Parle), Trish (Cody), Liam, Pauline (Egars), Benny and Aidan, sadly missed by her loving family, sister Mary, brothers Liam, John and Pat, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

In accordance with current health guidelines a private funeral for family and close friends will take place. Requiem Mass for Bee will be celebrated on Monday (23rd August) at 12 noon in St. Fiacre’s Church, Loughboy (max 50 people), with interment afterwards in Foulkstown Cemetery. The family would like to thank in a special way the staff of Carlow Kilkenny Home Care Team for the care and kindness shown to Bee during her illness and therefore request family flowers only, with any donations, if desired, to the Home Care Team at https://www.carlowkilkennyhomecareteam.ie/

There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and remember Bee by being present, socially distanced, on Monday morning, en route from her home in Larchfield to the church.
