Devoted husband and wife who died on the 3rd September 2021 peacefully within hours of each other after 43 years of marriage.
James (Jim) Walsh, The Bullring, Slieverue, and late of Templeourm and Harristown, Piltown, Co. Kilkenny, Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Anastasia, sister Rita, brother Dick. Jim will be sadly missed by his brother Paudie, sister Mary (McRory), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Margaret (Peggy) Walsh (née Kavanagh), The Bullring, Slieverue, Co. Kilkenny. Predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Margaret, brothers Paddy, Nicholas and Jimmy. Peggy will be sadly missed by her sister Ann (Byrne), Maureen (O’Keeffe) and Kathleen (Payne), brother Thomas, Catherine and Gordon, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Jim and Peggy will be reposing in Power’s Funeral Home, Ferrybank on Sunday, 5th September, from 10am followed by removal at 11.30 to the Church of the Assumption, Slieverue, walking from the Bullring, arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Breda YOUNG (née Kealy)
Kilmacud, Dublin/Kilkenny
YOUNG (née Kealy), Breda (Kilmacud and formerly Freynestown Castle, Co. Kilkenny) 3rd September 2021 (peacefully) in her 90th year after a long illness surrounded by her loving family in the exceptional care of the staff at the Beacon Hospital. She will be deeply missed and remembered with much love and affection by her husband and best friend John, her children Peter, Gina, Colin and Garret, son-in-law Cormac, daughter-in-law Val, her adored grandchildren Eoin, Chloe, Shauna, Sarah, Sophie, Kirsty and Saoirse, sisters Maura and Carmel, extended family and friends.
Breda will be reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on Saturday and Monday afternoon (4th and 6th of September) between 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm (maximum of 6 people at any time). Wearing of masks and social distancing is required.
Removal on Tuesday morning (7th September) to the Church of St. Laurence O’Toole, Kilmacud for Funeral Mass at 10 am. The capacity of the church will be limited to 50%.
