Reposing in Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Freshford, this Monday evening from 7pm to 8pm. Burial tomorrow, Tuesday, in St. Lachtain’s Cemetery, Freshford, at 12 o’clock. Please observe guidelines regarding social distancing in Funeral Home and Cemetery.

Mai PHELAN (née Dunne)

Mai Phelan (nee Dunne) Seskin, Windgap, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Kilbricken, Callan.
Peacefully, at her residence on Sunday 26th September, surrounded by her loving family, aged 101 years and 9 months.
Predeceased by her husband Johnny and son Jim. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing family, daughter Kathleen, sons Willie, Teddy, Michael and Donie, daughters in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
In accordance with current HSE and Government guidelines, Mai will be reposing at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan, on Monday 27th September from 5pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7.30pm. Funeral Prayers on Tuesday morning at 10am followed by removal to St. Nicholas’s Church, Windgap, Kilkenny for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial will take place afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Under new government guidelines, the capacity in the church is restricted to 50% and social distancing guidelines still apply.
