Kitty Galvin (Dean Cavanagh Place, Kilkenny) December 5th 2021 (unexpectedly) at St. Luke’s Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Christy and much loved mother of Sandra and Brian. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, son, son-in-law Ger, daughter-in-law Naoimh, grandchildren Louise, Ciara, Leona, Josh, Fraya, Rohan and Lucca, great-grandchildren Sophie, Abbie, Hannah and Jayden, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
Requiem Mass for Kitty will be celebrated on Tuesday (Dec. 7th) at 12 noon in St. Mary’s Cathedral followed by interment in St. Kieran’s Cemetery.

Kay McEvoy (née Gaffney) (Aylesbury, Freshford Road, Kilkenny) December 5th 2021 (peacefully) at St. Luke’s Hospital. Predeceased by her brother Eamon. Beloved wife of Danny and much loved mother of David and Shane. She will be sadly missed by her husband, sons, brother Kevin, sisters Denise and Mary, David and Shane’s partners Julie and Eric, grandson Freddie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at Hehir’s Funeral Home from 6p.m. on Tuesday (Dec. 7th) concluding with Rosary at 7p.m. Requiem Mass for Kay will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11a.m. in St. Canice’s Church followed by interment in St. Kieran’s Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to C.O.P.D., Kilkenny branch.

Tynan (nee Roche) (71 Old Callan Road, Kilkenny and formerly of 15 Wolfe Tone Street, Kilkenny) 4th December 2021, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Luke’s Hospital, Eileen, predeceased by her parents Thomas and Eileen, brothers Martin and Tommy and sisters Rita, Trish and Maura, beloved mother of Frank, Martin, Pat, Veronica and Helena, sadly missed by her loving children and their father Paddy, sister Phyllis (Lacey), brother Joe (Canada), daughters-in-law Brigid, Jane and Mary, grandchildren Darragh, Cian, Niamh, Gary, Jack, Patrick, James, Rosetta and Naomi, great grandchildren Robbie, Alexa, Amelia and Harry, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Removal from her home on Tuesday morning to St. John’s Church (via College Road, High St. and Wolfe Tone St.) arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterward in St. Kieran’s Cemetery.
