Road rage: Motorist attacks cyclist at pedestrian crossing in Kilkenny town
A cyclist was assaulted in a county Kilkenny in act of road-rage when a car driver jumped out and slapped him.
The incident happened on Urlingford’s Main Street last Wednesday between 11am and 12pm.
The cyclist had gotten off his bike to cross the street at a pedestrian crossing when a red Lexus suddenly pulled up and the driver jumped out of his car.
Words were exchanged between the two men before the driver lashed out and slapped the cyclist on the side of the face. The cyclist did not receive any injuries.
Witnesses or anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Urlingford Garda Station on 056 883 1133.
