Skateboarder hospitalised after late night assault in Kilkenny city-centre
A man was taken to hospital suffering from head injuries after he was pushed off his skateboard.
The assault occurred in the Kieran Street area of Kilkenny city at around 1.45am on Sunday morning.
A local Garda spokesperson told KilkennyNow.ie the victim suffered a cut to the back of his head and had to be taken to St Luke’s General Hospital for treatment.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the attack or who may have information about the incident to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 555 7000.
