Historic Kilkenny attraction unveils new outdoor dining space

One of Kilkenny’s leading tourist attractions has launched an impressive new outdoor dining space.
Butler House on Patrick Street has also unveiled an extensive redesign of their guest accommodation in time for itspost-pandemic reopening.
The Orangerie at Butler House is a new dining experience offering quality, healthy menu options, served in the tranquil surroundings of the walled garden.
Butler House has also just launched their new bedroom redesign, seeing three bedrooms return to a more authentic design approach to the sophistication of a 18th century Georgian townhouse.
Each bedroom has an eclectic style that draws on influences from the Georgian and Regency period and includes the story of the Kilkenny Design workshops.
Both the Orangerie and new rooms were designed and styled by Orla Kelly who has honed her skills in London, Milan, Paris, Barcelona, Holland, New York and Florida.
Orla’s approach with Butler House was to return to the inspiration of the magnificent architecture and original purpose of the Georgian house and this concept will be rolled out into the rest of the bedrooms in the House over the coming years.
Butler House Orangerie is open from 10am to 5pm daily with afternoon tea served between 1pm to 3pm. Prebooking for afternoon tea is essential.
