Slick thieves break into Kilkenny home and steal heating oil from tank
Sneaky thieves broke into a house on the outskirts of Kilkenny city before stealing heating oil from a tank on the property.
The break-in occurred at a house in the Goslingstown area sometime between July 1 and Thursday, August 3.
A local Garda spokesperson said: “The homeowner noticed that the lid of the tank had been removed and there were traces of oil on the ground.”
Witnesses or anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 555 7000.
