Teenager hospitalised after violent attack in Kilkenny city-centre
A teenager was taken to hospital after he was brutally attacked in Kilkenny city-centre in broad daylight.
The incident occurred in the Canal Walk area at around 3pm on Saturday.
A male teenager suffered non-life threatening facial injuries during the assault and was taken to St Luke’s General Hospital for treatment.
Gardaí said their investigations are ongoing. They have appealed to eyewitnesses or anyone with information about the assault to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
