Thieves armed with angle grinder remove steel gate from Kilkenny property in middle of night
Thieves stole a large steel gate from a county Kilkenny property using an angle grinder in the middle of the night.
The theft occurred at the property on Tower Road, Jenkinstown, sometime between 9pm on Tuesday night and 8am the following morning.
A local Garda spokesperson said it is believed an angle grinder was used to remove the black, solid steel gate.
Eyewitnesses or anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time is asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
