Thieves break into Eir site on outskirts of Kilkenny and make off with equipment
Thieves broke into an Eir site on the outskirts of Kilkenny city and stole a number of batteries, gardai have confirmed.
The theft occured in Maddoxtown on Monday.
A local Garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí are appealing for information in relation to the theft of batteries from a site in Maddoxtown. Entry was gained to the site via a hole in the fence.”
Witnesses or anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time is urged to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 555 7000.
