Thieves go to great lengths to steal catalytic convertor from car in county Kilkenny

Thieves broke into a home in county Kilkenny and stole a catalytic converter from a car parked in the yard.

The theft occurred t a home in Crossogue near Callan sometime between 10pm on Tuesday and 2am on Wednesday.

A local Garda source confirmed the thieves entered the yard of the house where a blue Toyota Yaris was parked and proceeded to remove the catalytic convertor from the car before making their getaway.

Witnesses or anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time is asked to contact Callan Garda Station on 056 777 6630.
