Three men to appear in court after major garda operation in Kilkenny
THE THREE men arrested this morning as part of a major garda operation in Kilkenny are to appear in court today.
Up to 30 gardai were involved in a major planned operation in Kilkenny this morning which resulted in three men being arrested.
The dramatic early morning raid occurred in the Wetlands area of Kilkenny.
Uniformed gardai and detectives entered a halting site at Wetlands, armed with search warrants. They then arrested the three male suspects.
Two men have been charged with trespassing offences, while the third will appear in court on the back of outstanding warrants.
The operation began shortly after 7am.
Further searches are ongoing currently as part of the Garda operation.
