Tributes pour in for ‘absolute gent’ who spent his life capturing the essence of Kilkenny

TRIBUTES have been pouring in for a much-loved Kilkenny photographer, who lost his battle with cancer earlier today.
An extremely talented photojournalist, Pat Moore was highly thought off in Kilkenny and further afield for his infectious personality and dedication to his work.
Friends and family, as well as members of Kilkenny’s business community, sporting groups and community groups have all taken to social media to express their sadness at the passing of a man who had a meaningful and lasting impact on their lives.
He is best known for his work which graced the pages of the Kilkenny People, while Pat’s work also featured regularly in all of the major national newspaper titles.
Pat passed away this morning at Waterford University Hospital, having battled cancer for a number of months.
Funeral arrangements have just been announced. Pat will be reposing in Johnston’s Funeral Home on Monday from 5pm with prayers at 6.30pm. Pat will be removed to St. Canice’s Church, Kilkenny. Requiem mass takes place on Tuesday at 12pm followed by burial in Tulla Cemetery, Threecastles.
