Two arrested as Kilkenny gardai seize €2,300 of heroin in city
KILKENNY gardai seized €2,300 worth of heroin during a planned operation in the city last night.
Two people were arrested in the operation, which was carried out by members of the Kilkenny/Carlow Divisional Drugs Unit.
suspects are currently being detained at Kilkenny Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
The latest drugs bust comes just days after gardai seized €30,000 worth of cocaine during a search of a premises in Callan. One man was subsequently arrested and charged in connection with that incident.
