Two men found dead at hostel in Waterford city
Gardaí are investigating the tragic deaths of two men whose bodies were found in a hostel in Waterford city.
The emergency services were called to the hostel on Bath Street at approximately 4.45pm yesterday.
They discovered two men, both aged in their 40s, lying in an unresponsive state. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The men’s bodies were removed from the scene. Post mortem examinations will be carried out on the remains later today.
Gardaí said that the autopsy results will determine the course of their investigations.
It is not believed foul play was involved in either man’s death.
